After 6 years of experience as a travel agent, the founder of the company realized it was time to take a step further and open his own tour operator in 2013, for which he borrowed the name of the fastest flying insect of the world, the dragonfly.

And it was with this usual speed that he reached new partners and business to make Dragonfly soar sky high.

The experience on the client's side, which is as a travel agent, helped to pave the way which path the tour operator should follow – less bureaucracy, good suppliers and experience tourism were the pillars for the company to come to life, and after one year in the market, Dragonfly was already comfortable and confident enough to operate any destination.

This same experience also helped seeing the hits and misses the company could commit, and more importantly, gave the right mindset for its owner – "a tour operator must worth WITH the travel agencies, not against them".
